TACCLE 09 – Teachers’ Aids on Creating Content for Learning Environments (Urbino, Italy)

Those days I’m in Urbino (Italy) attending the Taccle pilot training course (20-22 April 2009), invited by Fabio Giglietto. I wrote about this European Project when it was presented.

TACCLE Teachers’ Aids on Creating Content for Learning Environments is a EU funded Comenius multilateral project.

Learning environments offer excellent opportunities for stimulating lifelong learning in both compulsory and adult education. The creation of high quality content for (personal) learning environments is essential for the successful use of e-learning. It is important to train teachers how to create such content and this is the main aim of our project: helping teachers to develop their own e-learning materials.

So, I’m one of the teachers involved in this pilot course organised in the technical school ITIS Mattei of Urbino  (http://www.emattei-urbino.it/).

A nice group from Italy, Spain, Belgium, Austria and Wales.

We are learning about theoretical and didactical aspects of e-learning and, above all, we are learning to use eXe and Personal Brain, how to make podcasting, screencasting and videocasting for learning purposes and how to use the e-learning platform Moodle.

Stay tuned. I will tell you what we are doing here in Urbino
